The Addams Family

This is a port from the original SNES game and re-released to the Sega Genesis although it appears that nothing has been adjusted (Apart from the graphics). You take the role of Gomez who is on a mission to recover Morticia from Fester (Her kidnapper). You need to find family members to try and locate Morticia and complete the game.

Probably one of the most uneventful side scrollers I have ever played and probably will never play it again. This is down to the lack of gameplay and repetitive levels.

On the positive side it did feel like copy of a Mario game and kept me entertained long enough to right a review and I feel it deserves the score below:

Aaahh! Real Monsters

A very nostalgic game from a very successful childrens cartoon, You take the role of three creepy little critters Ickis, Krumm and Oblina who each have a specific ability. It has a good combination of enemies from the TV show although lets itself down with the boss levels due to the difficult nature and repetitive aspect. It plays like a conventional puzzle platformer with different task you need to undertake to get further through the game.

I feel that it did lack length in the game but was visually rewarding throughout with good accuracy to the TV series.

Overall I played this game once and believe that I will not return to it and that is reflected in the score below:

This gives you access to a secret menu where there are options like infinite jump and invulnerability, this may have been a test menu rather than a cheat.

688 Attack Sub

Take an American 688 Submarine (And a 700 once) and place it in waters full of Russian ALFA submarines and go all out. This game will really test your skills but the A.I. does build up very quickly, although fun can sometimes become a little short lived due to limited missions and heavily incremental difficulty.

Although this may appear a simulation game, it is not, they have created a game around the movement control and running of a submarine yet have created it in a way that does not replicate a real sub although has been changed for player enjoyment.

Overall this game was a treat and deserves a play and this is why I have given it the score below:
